The international exhibition center Crocus Expo is designed in accordance with the best international architectural standards and built with the use of modern building materials. It is intended to hold international exhibitions with participation of Russian and foreign companies.
The inauguration of the first pavilion of the exhibition center Crocus Expo took place on March 18, 2004 and became the main event of the year in exhibition business riveting attention of statesmen, press, and business public. In particular, the ceremony was attended by President of Crocus International JSC A. I. Agalarov, Governor of Moscow oblast B. V. Gromov, and President, Chairman of Board of the Savings Bank of Russian Federation A. I. Kazmin.
The exhibition center attracts attention of organizations coordinating exhibition/fair activity in Russia. The Crocus International Co., of which the exhibition center is an affiliate, is the member of International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Guild of Exhibition/Fair Organizations of MTPP (Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
Presently the Crocus Expo is the largest and prospective exhibition grounds in Russia. The confined display pavilions are 86,800 m2 in area, and open display pavilions occupy 66,500 m2.
Two pavilions of the exhibition center house eleven show rooms (pavilion 1 [27,550 m2], pavilion 2 [59,200 m2]) meeting the best international technical standards, thirteen conference halls (pavilion 1, pavilion 2) fully equipped for congresses, presentations, seminars, and nine rooms for negotiations.
The link building with travolators for the convenience of the exhibition-goers will save their time during exhibit view.
The IEC Crocus Expo boasts a developed infrastructure: the exhibition pavilions house offices of the Savings Bank and Crocus Bank, service centers, food courts, cafe and restaurants (pavilion 1, pavilion 2), taxi hiring point, coat check, customs post and lifting service.
The universal multimedia terminals at the entrance to each show room and food court can direct the visitors of the IEC Crocus Expo to any pavilion of the exhibition center and separate stand.
The newest security arrangement will guard organizers and exhibitors during the exhibition and mounting/demounting operations. The security arrangement covers the whole exhibition; however, the exhibitors can order a separate stand protection.
